nyfw: PRABAL GURUNG Fall 13

Prabal Gurung is one of the designers that excelled at New York Fashion Week, this week. His Fall 2013 collection featured an army of structured peplum jackets, towering gladiator sandals, leather harnesses and b/w furs. True fighting attire. Although the pieces were masculine and strong, the peplums and floral prints made the collection scream GIRL POWER! The dominatrix, warrior trend hasn't yet been seen again on the runway this season but I can still see it being a huge hit.

CELINE

Move over Birkin there's a new IT bag in town and it goes by the name of Phantom.
The gorgeous handbag is modern, chic and stylish. The trapeze shape is much more interesting than the usual standard boring handbag shape. It comes in a large variety of colours and textures, including leather, pony skin, nude, yellow, leopard, crocodile, pink, white, blue, black and red. The list goes on. It even comes in a mini size, phantom 'nano', if you don't carry around a lot.
Celebrities who love the bag include: Carey Mulligan, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Miley Cyrus, Kourtney Kardashian and Leighton Meester.
